Huobi, the Chinese branch and Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange company is among the first members of the Blockchain Services Network (BSN), an industry alliance initiated by the State Information Center (SIC).

The membership also includes China’s equivalence to VISA, China UnionPay, state-backed telecom giants China Mobile and China Telecom, China Merchants Bank International, and Tencent-backed WeBank.

Huobi and BSN members will work together on blockchain education and training, blockchain technology and application research, as well as blockchain application solutions. The alliance is also in efforts to help the implementation of blockchain science education and applications in various industries.

It is understood that blockchain technology is becoming another emerging technology that will have a significant impact on the future of big data, artificial intelligence and other technologies, hence BSN aims to provide a blockchain infrastructure services platform that bridges different blockchain networks, regions, and institutions. The platform, developed by China UnionPay and China Mobile, has been successfully deployed.
