Recently, it was announced that Burger King restaurants in Venezuela will accept cryptocurrency as a payment method through the leading crypto trading platform in Latin America, Cryptobuyer. Both parties are said to be aiming to serve all 40 branches throughout the nation in 2020.
The first branch out of 40 to implement this is the one in the Sambil area of Caracas and the coins accepted are Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), Dash (DASH) as well as Tether (USDT).

As reported in news, Venezuela continues to set new records for trading with Bitcoin on peer-to-peer platforms like LocalBitcoins and the last weeks of December saw a 15% increase in BTC’s trading volume, approximately $24 million.
