In an interview with CNN, the CEO of Ripple, Brad Garlinghouse mentioned the current state of Ripple and what the company has in hand for this year, as well as its desire to be the Amazon of crypto industry by 2025.

Garlinghouse also stated about how Amazon grew from an online bookseller to dominating the e-commerce, and he foresees the same capability in Ripple.
“We’ve added more than 150 employees last year, at a time when I think others have been less focused on solving real-world problems. I hope that in 5 years we’re not just Amazon books, we’re Amazon.”
