In today’s hyper-competitive business world, the number of job seekers competing for a suitable job has reached its peak. Some of them are even thinking of counterfeiting their resumes to increase their chance of securing a job.
EagleCheck, a Barcelona-based startup, seeks to crack down fake resumes and job fraud. The company helps employers check the background of applicants, thus significantly reducing responses time by automating the process.
According to the company, its decentralized platform helps background screening, easily and quickly find information. While its software is used to upload the resume information, perform a data integrity check, once it is detected what’s there is real, and the team will give the green light.
Reportedly, the process of hiring a job applicant is around $4,000. In Spain and Latin America, companies do not want to spend such amount of money. Instead, they prefer to believe what you put in your resume. However, EagleCheck has already seen this in political cases that have outright lies.
