Women Prefer Crypto For Food & Groceries

Recent profiling by 2gether found that the women on its platform spent 37% of cryptocurrencies on food and groceries.

2gether is a Spain-based collaborative financial platform that allows users to buy, sell, and spend different cryptocurrencies in the European Union (EU).

Other than spending on food and groceries, the study also found that women spent 17% on transportation, 15% on finance and investments, 12% on leisure, and other types of spending.

The platform comprised of 23% of female users with mostly at the age of 26 to 45 years old. The most common professions of their female users are service sector professionals, lawyers, accountants, and economists.

The highly most traded cryptocurrencies by female users in its platform are 69% Bitcoin and 30% Ethereum. The rest are other types of cryptocurrencies supported by the 2gether platform.
